Moz Inc. Equips Local Businesses through the Enhancing Business Productivity (EBP) Training Programme

Moz Inc. is currently working with the National Competitiveness and Productivity Council (NCPC) to provide training for and on-site evaluation visits to micro, small and medium-sized businesses. The programme is funded by Caribbean Digital Transformation Project (CARDTP) in Saint Lucia.  The programme was designed to support the NCPC’s home-grown, web-based productivity measuring instrument called the Protool.

The project, which runs from 2023 to 2026, will annually train at least three cohorts of ten (10) businesses. The topics covered in two non-consecutive days include:

  • Bottom-line Benefits & Financial Considerations
  • Creating Value & Planning for Quality
  • Streamlining Processes & Minimizing Waste
  • Monitoring, Analysis, & Evaluation for Consistency and Improvement

Delivered by a Moz team including regional consultants, the EBP Training Programme is based on the international best practices of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 9004:2018.   By offering both training sessions and selective on-site evaluation visits, the programme empowers business owners/managers to identify and close productivity gaps while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The initiative has already garnered praise from participants for its impact on enhancing operational effectiveness and efficiency. Beyond business growth, the programme contributes to the achievement of at least three Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • SDG 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth: Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
  • SGG 9 - Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure: Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.
  • SDG 17 - Partnerships for the Goals: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.

Moz Inc. remains committed to delivering added value through actionable insights, targeted support, and practical solutions. We are grateful for the opportunity to equip Saint Lucian businesses to increase their productivity, enhance their value offering and generate repeat business.
